Nightly Meals

We are a reliable point of connection for our community, offering a hot, chef-prepared meal every evening, no questions asked.

We offer choice and dignity, with options including meat, fish, vegetarian, and vegan, plus salad, bread, fruit, and dessert. By providing this consistent, quality meal, we build trust with guests who are navigating food insecurity or housing instability, allowing us to connect them with further vital services.

Our staff and volunteers turn compassion into action daily, transforming high-quality, rescued food into hundreds of nourishing meals. Guided by our talented culinary team, we embrace the unpredictable nature of food rescue, turning whatever ingredients arrive each day into wholesome, creative dishes made with care and heart.

Welcoming Our Guests

Each night, we prepare dinner not knowing how many guests will join us, but knowing that we’ll have enough for all.

In more than three decades of service, we’ve never turned anyone away. Everyone who comes through our doors receives a meal, dignity, and a place to belong.

Our volunteers bring that spirit to life. They greet each guest by name, share a kind word, and foster a sense of community that extends well beyond the meal itself.

If no one else has spoken kindly to a guest that day, we make sure we do.

More Than a Meal:
A Path To Wellness and Stability

Our Dinner is more than a meal. It’s a place where people who are unhoused, food insecure, or facing tough times can take the next step toward wellness, whether through medical care, housing support, or essential services like haircuts, clothing, bike repair, and mental health support.

Our Wellness staff connects dinner guests with vital health, housing, and support services. In collaboration with more than a dozen nonprofit partners, we host free on-site resources and make referrals to off-site services that address both immediate and long-term needs. These include housing navigation, mental health support, document recovery, employment support, and creative opportunities such as art, woodworking, and pottery.

Each week, we host partner organizations that bring care directly to our site. This can include offering medical and vision services, clothing distribution, HIV testing, sewing and mending workshops, and more. Most nights, volunteers distribute items that are critical to surviving while living outside, such as clothing, sleeping bags, blankets, lanterns, and hygiene kits.

Over the years, we have helped thousands of guests take meaningful steps toward greater stability and well-being.
