Hollywood Food Coalition’s Culinary Collaborations initiative continues building our Community Dinner's capacity to meet our guests’ dietary needs and cultural preferences.

Our guests' cultural and culinary backgrounds are diverse, so we strive to provide the same variety, choice, and diversity in the food we serve nightly.

The initiative fosters collaboration with our culinary staff and aims to create new menus that will appeal to guests' existing culinary preferences, as well as allow other guests to explore new dishes and cuisines, using mostly rescued ingredients.

We want to provide our guests with a normalizing and enriching experience that many of us take for granted and help them feel connected with one another and the broader LA community.

Initiative Goals

  • Diversify HoFoCo’s menus by creating new culturally diverse options for our guests

  • Connect and integrate the larger culinary world with HoFoCo’s guests and community

  • Educate collaborators and the community about food waste prevention

  • Encourage social action in repurposing food and recycling ingredients
