A Los Angeles native, Javier Arango is passionate about harnessing the power of community to address issues of hunger and inequality in our city. After graduating from Harvard University in 2021, Javier has worked in the not-for-profit education space. Javier began volunteering at HoFoCo for meal service on Wednesdays while also helping plan fundraising events. Beginning a PhD in Philosophy at UCLA in 2022, Javier is eager to work with the passionate team at HoFoCo to make a positive impact on our city’s community.
